The CalCard was first designed in 2007. It’s requirement came about from the proverbial pub table chat.
Fundamentally the CalCard provides a range of fixed resistance’s to verify the ongoing accuracy of an electricians testing instrument with regard to Insulation and Continuity instrument.
Since its release it has sold over 30,000 units and is a multiple National Awards winning product.
The CalCard not only extends the time between calibrations but also enables the “Competent Electrician” to meet one of the many compliance requirements operated by bodies such as NICEIC, ELECSA and NAPIT.
